Daphne Holland Store is an initiative of WebshopinChina to gain first-hand experience in setting up and running an online store in China. Furthermore, this store serves as a shop-in-shop and offers European brands the opportunity to enter the Chinese online market with relatively low risk and investment.
WebshopinChina is approached by many European brands that like to sell online to Chinese consumers. Some of these brands only have a few products in their product range, without the need for their own store. Other brands are uncertain about the demand from Chinese consumers and like to “test the water” before investing in their own flagship store on one of the major platforms. Lastly, some companies do not have the financial resources to invest in their own online store yet, even though their products are very suitable for the Chinese market.
WebshopinChina created a solution for those European brands that do not need their own online store in China or would like to run a pilot before actually investing in a flagship store on one of the major platforms. We launched a shop-in-shop mall called Daphne Holland Store on the JD Worldwide platform, offering brands the chance to sell directly to Chinese consumers with a limited budget and short startup time. WebshopinChina creates the product pages, executes the order processing, Chinese customer service and marketing and promotion. Furthermore, we arrange the logistics from the warehouse to the Chinese end consumer. We aim to assist all kind of companies, ranging from SMEs to multinational companies, and find the best solution to enter the Chinese online market.
